A real PIR detector integrated in the front of the camera is detecting people and animals, eliminating false alarms generated by the environment, such as insects, plants or changes in lighting.
The PIR sensor is managing the activity and video transmission of the camera, which are kept at rest until a motion is detected or when access is requested from the mobile application. This makes the camera completely autonomous.

Regarding the image, it is based on a sensor 1/4" 2 Megapixel that offers a Full HD resolution of 1080p to 25 FPS. Fixed wide-angle lens of 2.2 mm with a diagonal field of view of 125º. Infrared LEDs that activate automatically and provide a clear image at 0 Lux (total darkness) at a maximum distance of 7.5 m.

Professional security cameras usually record the image continuously so they require a hard disk recorder to store a large amount of data. The Ezviz camera is designed to capture real movement events and free up the storage if necessary. It uses a highly efficient Smart H.264 codec that reduces the volume of data generated up to 50% compared to the usual H.264.
The EZVIZ supports MicroSD card up to 128 GB where you can store the records. Furthermore Ezviz offers a cloud storage service for the recorded events (EZVIZ CloudPlay). This service requires paid subscrtion plan.

In the audio section, the camera consists of an ambient microphone and speaker, enhanced with a noise filter.

You can access the camera from anywhere, it is completely Plug & Play using the Ezviz mobile app, available for iOS and Android. Intuitive and simple, this app allows any user to add the camera via WiFi in a matter of seconds. Once the camera is switched on, the app detects it and asks the user for the password of their Wi-Fi network, being ready for immediate use. Includes P2P service to connect from outside the WiFi network without the need to open ports or resort to DDNS services.
The camera can be integrated with home automation or Smart Home systems such as Google, Alexa or the automation app IFTTT.

IP65, rated housing for both indoor and outdoor use.
