The 8-Channel White Ajax NVR HDC is a high-performance IP video recording solution engineered to seamlessly integrate video surveillance into the Ajax security ecosystem. In addition to full remote control via mobile and desktop Ajax PRO applications, this HDC version features a physical HDMI output and two USB ports on the rear panel, enabling direct connection to a local monitor and mouse for real-time viewing and archive navigation without depending on an Internet connection. The unit manages up to 8 IP video channels at resolutions reaching 4K (3840 × 2160 px) at 30 FPS with an incoming bandwidth capacity of up to 80 Mbps.

Powered by proprietary P2P JetSparrow transmission technology, the NVR HDC ensures instant transition from alarm notifications to live or recorded video streams. Ajax intrusion detectors can be paired with specific video channels for immediate visual verification on mobile devices. The recorder includes an internal bay for one 3.5" SATA hard drive up to 16 TB (hard drive not included), providing weeks of continuous H.265 and H.264 recording.

12V DC Powering, Passwordless QR Setup, and mTLS Cybersecurity

The device operates on an external 12 V DC power input, drawing as little as < 0.6 W (without a hard drive installed) and up to 24 W under full operation. Important note: the external 12V DC power supply unit / adapter is not included in the package and must be purchased separately. Onboarding is passwordless and straightforward: adding the device takes seconds by scanning the QR code inside the Ajax app. All data streams are protected by mTLS encryption.
