The Ajax Superior DoorProtect Fibra in white is a wired magnetic contact opening detector designed to secure indoor access points across residential and commercial properties. Equipped with two sealed reed switches, it offers versatile installation options allowing the magnet to be placed on either the left or right side of the device. It comes with two bundled magnets of different sizes to accommodate varying frame gaps, triggering an alarm instantly upon magnetic contact separation.
The detector includes a Normally Closed (NC) auxiliary wired input terminal, enabling direct connection of third-party wired sensors (such as recessed magnetic contacts for armored doors or roller shutter sensors). It complies with rigorous European security standards, holding EN 50131 Grade 2, NFA2P, and PD 6662:2017 certifications.
#### Dual Physical Anti-Tamper Protection and Advanced Fibra Bus Technology
The housing is equipped with two physical tamper switches that immediately alert the hub upon front cover removal or detachment from the SmartBracket mounting panel. It also features built-in contact chatter filtering to prevent false alarms caused by wind or structural vibrations.
Event reporting and power supply operate via the proprietary Fibra wired bus protocol. This encrypted bi-directional bus technology offers complete line sabotage protection, bus short-circuit protection, and supports bus line runs up to 2,000 meters.
