The Ajax Superior DoorProtect Plus Fibra in black is a wired intrusion detector engineered for advanced perimeter protection across doors, windows, skylights, and gates. In addition to a reed switch magnetic contact for opening detection, the device integrates a high-precision 3-axis accelerometer capable of sensing mechanical shocks, break-in tool vibrations, and changes in vertical tilt angle (configurable from 1° to 5°). The unit conforms to demanding European compliance standards, holding both EN 50131 Grade 2 certification and the French NFA2P (2 Boucliers) mark required for insurance compliance.

Featuring a dedicated tilt sensor, this detector offers an optimal solution for tilt-and-turn windows, allowing rooms to remain ventilated while the system is armed without generating false alarms. The primary unit is supplied with two magnets of varying power (a large magnet supporting gaps up to 2 cm and a small magnet up to 1 cm) to fit diverse frame profiles. Additionally, it features an auxiliary input terminal for connecting an external Normally Closed (NC) dry-contact sensor.

To resist physical sabotage attempts, the housing is equipped with a physical tamper switch that instantly alerts the system upon front cover opening or detachment from the SmartBracket panel. It also contains an ambient temperature sensor for continuous diagnostic monitoring.

Data transmission and power supply rely on the Fibra proprietary wired bus protocol. This bus technology ensures instant bi-directional communication, dynamic block encryption, line short-circuit protection, and bus line support up to 2000 meters.
