The Ajax Superior MotionCam Fibra in black is a wired passive infrared (PIR) motion detector featuring a built-in camera for immediate visual alarm verification across indoor premises. Upon detecting motion, the device takes an animated series of high-definition photos (up to 640 × 480 pixels), enabling homeowners and Central Monitoring Stations (CMS) to verify real alarm events in real time. It also supports photos on demand and photos by automation scenarios. With an integrated infrared (IR) backlight, MotionCam Fibra takes clear photos even in pitch darkness, without compromising user privacy when the system is disarmed.
Driven by the SmartDetect digital algorithm, it provides intelligent pet immunity, ignoring household pets weighing up to 20 kg (44 lb) and measuring up to 50 cm (1.6 ft) in height when mounted at 2.4 meters. It adheres to strict European compliance standards, holding EN 50131 Grade 2, NFA2P, and PD 6662:2017 certifications.
#### Physical Anti-Tamper Protection and Ultra-Fast Photo Transmission over Fibra Bus
The housing is equipped with a physical anti-tamper switch that immediately alerts the system hub upon case opening or removal from the SmartBracket wall panel. It also features an integrated ambient temperature sensor for diagnostic monitoring and automatic thermal compensation.
Photo transmission, alarm reporting, and power delivery run over the Fibra proprietary wired bus protocol. This encrypted bi-directional bus technology ensures photo delivery in seconds, bus line short-circuit protection, and supports cable runs up to 2,000 meters.
