The Ajax KeyPad TouchScreen White represents the peak of wireless technological evolution in user interfaces within the active Ajax security ecosystem. Equipped with a bright, capacitive 5-inch touchscreen, this wall-mounted device features a matte white housing that perfectly matches modern architectural decors. The graphical interface is directly inherited from the brand's official mobile application. Users can arm or disarm the system visually, track current malfunctions, read the event log, and execute smart home automation scenarios with a simple tap.
Outstanding flexibility is a primary feature of this premium keypad, supporting four secure user identification methods: classic numeric passcodes, encrypted Pass cards, touchless Tag key fobs, and authorized smartphones through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Contactless RFID reading relies on the secure, industry-grade DESFire® protocol (EV1/EV2), offering dynamic 128-bit encryption that is virtually impossible to clone. Personal protection is reinforced by a duress code feature that mimics disarming while sending a silent alert to the CMS.
The KeyPad TouchScreen integrates an infrared proximity sensor that automatically wakes the screen as a hand approaches, alongside an ambient light sensor that dynamically adjusts screen brightness to avoid blinding users at night. An integrated piezo buzzer sounds alerts for alarms, delays, and door openings (chimes). The secure physical housing features mechanical tamper protection against wall tear-off attempts.
Wireless data communication is split between two separate channels: the Jeweller radio protocol for immediate transmission of alarms and events, and the Wings protocol for secure, fast firmware updates and visual graphical exchanges, covering up to 1700 meters. The device is powered by six pre-installed AA lithium batteries, offering up to 1.5 years of autonomous operation. For permanent installations, it supports an external 12 V⎓ connection, utilizing the internal batteries as a secure backup source.
The keypad is connected wirelessly to the hub within seconds by scanning the printed QR code inside the mobile app. It is cleanly and securely mounted on the wall using the SmartBracket installation panel and the bundled retention screw.
