The NVRKIT108T-4 is an IP video surveillance kit combining an Ajax 8-channel network video recorder with four Safire Smart 4MP Turret cameras. The package also includes a PoE switch and a Western Digital 1TB hard drive.

The cameras deliver a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels, a fixed 2.8mm lens and Dual Light technology. They feature infrared and white LED illumination with a range of up to 20m, together with a built-in microphone and intelligent detection functions.

The Ajax recorder centralises video recordings and provides access to the system through the Ajax application. ONVIF and RTSP compatibility facilitates integration with supported IP cameras.

Ajax 8-Channel Network Video Recorder

The NVR108-W recorder supports up to eight IP video channels. It is compatible with cameras using ONVIF and RTSP protocols.

The device supports resolutions up to 4K at 25/30fps, with a maximum total bandwidth of 100Mbps. It uses H.265 and H.264 compression to manage video streams.

Recording can be configured according to a schedule or motion detection events. The recorder features an RJ45 Ethernet connection and a white finish.

Four Safire Smart 4MP Turret Cameras

The kit includes four IPT010A-4B1-DL cameras from the Safire Smart B1 range. Each camera features a 1/3" Progressive Scan CMOS image sensor.

The maximum resolution is 4MP (2560 × 1440). The main video stream supports up to 25fps at the resolutions specified by the manufacturer.

The Turret design allows the cameras to be positioned at different surveillance points, provided the recommended installation conditions are followed.

Fixed 2.8mm Lens and Wide Field of View

The cameras feature a fixed 2.8mm lens, suitable for monitoring areas that require a relatively wide field of view.

The viewing angle is 98° horizontally, 53° vertically and 116° diagonally. These specifications help determine suitable camera positions.

According to the manufacturer's DORI values, the detection, observation, recognition and identification distances are 56m, 22m, 11m and 5m, respectively.

Dual Light Technology with Infrared and White LED

The cameras incorporate Dual Light technology, combining infrared illumination with white LED lighting. Both illumination systems offer a specified maximum range of 20m.

Infrared illumination enables image capture in dark environments. White LED lighting provides a visible light source when required.

Minimum colour illumination is 0.009Lux at F2.2 with AGC enabled. With illumination activated, the cameras can operate at 0Lux.

Built-in Microphone for Audio Capture

Each Safire Smart camera features a built-in microphone. This functionality allows audio to be captured alongside video, depending on the system configuration.

Audio compression uses G711A/U. Audio capture and recording must comply with applicable legislation.

Intelligent Human Motion Detection

The cameras incorporate Smart Motion Detection technology based on identifying people within the image.

This function helps filter other objects in the scene and can reduce less relevant motion events.

Detection settings should be adjusted to the characteristics of the monitored area and the requirements of the installation.

Intelligent Video Analytics

The cameras provide intelligent area intrusion and line-crossing detection functions. These features help identify specific events within configured surveillance zones.

They also support abandoned and removed object detection. Video exception functions include scene changes and video signal loss.

These capabilities complement standard motion detection and allow surveillance settings to be customised.

Image Enhancement and Video Adjustments

The cameras incorporate DWDR, BLC, HLC, 3D-DNR and AWB technologies. These functions help compensate for different lighting conditions and reduce digital image noise.

ROI, mirror and privacy masking functions are also available. These options allow image presentation and selected surveillance areas to be adjusted.

H.265 and H.264 video compression contribute to efficient bandwidth and storage usage.

IP67 Protection for Outdoor Installation

The cameras feature an IP67 protection rating, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor installations when correctly mounted.

They have a plastic housing and support operating temperatures from -20°C to +55°C.

Each camera measures 94.8mm in diameter and 82.8mm in height, with an approximate weight of 280g.

Included 4-Port PoE Switch

The kit includes the SW0604POE-65-E switch, equipped with 4 RJ45 PoE ports and 2 RJ45 Uplink ports.

The ports operate at 10/100Mbps. The switch provides a total PoE power budget of up to 65W and supports IEEE 802.3af/at standards.

CCTV mode supports transmission distances of up to 250m at 10Mbps, under the conditions specified by the manufacturer. The switch uses an AC 220V power supply.

Included Western Digital 1TB Hard Drive

The kit includes a Western Digital WD10PURZ 1TB hard drive, featuring a SATA interface and a 3.5" form factor.

The drive has a rotational speed of 5400 RPM, a 64MB cache and a specified transfer speed of up to 110MB/s.

The Ajax recorder supports one SATA 3.5" hard drive with a maximum capacity of 16TB. This kit is supplied with the specified 1TB drive.

Remote Access Through the Ajax Application

The recorder provides remote access through the Ajax smartphone application. This functionality simplifies system management from compatible devices.

The device also supports remote firmware updates using OTA (Over-the-Air) technology.

The Safire Smart cameras additionally offer access through a web browser, the Safire Smart application and Safire Smart VMS software for computers.
