The Ajax Curtain Outdoor Mini Jeweller delivers top-tier perimeter protection for residential and commercial spaces. This wireless curtain-type detector features a miniaturized structural footprint. It is the perfect hardware choice to guard window frames, exterior doors, or narrow pathways. Break-in attempts are exposed early. The system triggers warnings before any physical damage occurs to the doors.
The hardware pairs two distinct detection stages to ensure near-zero false alarms in outdoor environments. A passive infrared (PIR) thermal sensor works as the primary trigger. Immediately after, an energy-efficient K-band microwave sensor performs a secondary radio-frequency scan. The proprietary "SmartDetect" software algorithm cross-checks data from both devices. This filters out thermal interference caused by swaying bushes or wind gusts. Toggling the physical switch activates Pet Mode, ignoring animals up to 70 cm tall.
The rugged IP55 weather-resistant casing protects all internal electronics from harsh environments. A smart anti-masking layout spots any attempts to block or tape the lens within 5 cm. Additional security layers include an internal accelerometer to monitor displacement and a tamper switch button. The sensor communicates via secure Jeweller radio technology up to 1,700 meters away from the hub. Wireless pairing is handled effortlessly by scanning a QR code via the Ajax app.
