It allows users to easily manage system areas, receive acoustic alerts during alarm events, and bypass physical codes using proximity credentials.
The integrated piezoelectric siren triggers powerful visual and acoustic alarms, configurable between 81 and 105 dB at a distance of 1 meter, alongside audible arming delays. The touchless card reader uses DESFire® EV1/EV2 technology, operating at 13.56 MHz with enterprise-grade data encryption to secure signal transfers. The layout also features duress code programming to quietly report alarms under immediate physical threat.
The device is backed by software protection algorithms designed to counter repeated forced entries, locking the touchscreen automatically after three consecutive failed attempts. Radio transmission utilizes the proprietary Jeweller protocol with permanent AES-128 block encryption and automatic frequency hopping to prevent signal jamming. It delivers an operational range of up to 1700 meters.
To comfortably support the current demands of the piezoelectric acoustic siren, the KeyPad Combi is powered by four pre-installed CR123A Lithium batteries, guaranteeing reliable continuous performance up to 3 years.
