The OEU-202S-HMK2 is a Uniview outdoor station designed for digital residential video intercom systems. It provides video intercom, security alarm and video surveillance functions. It can also make calls and communicate with connected indoor monitors and compatible applications.

The unit features 2 call buttons and an integrated IC card reader. The maximum capacity specified by the manufacturer is 10,000 cards. It also supports up to 20 connected indoor monitors, making it suitable for different residential installation configurations.

The OEU-202S-HMK2 can be powered via PoE IEEE802.3af or 12 V DC ±25%. It includes a 100 Mbps network port. The specified power consumption is 6.48 W with PoE and 5.35 W with a 12 V DC power supply.

Its metal construction is designed for outdoor installation. The video intercom provides IP65 protection and IK08 impact resistance. To achieve the IP65 rating, Uniview specifies that waterproof adhesive should be applied to the gap between the device and the wall, according to the relevant installation instructions.

The video system of the OEU-202S-HMK2 supports DWDR and uses adaptive infrared illumination. Its field of view is 106.9° horizontally, 56.9° vertically and 127.9° diagonally.

For audio communication, the outdoor station integrates a speaker and an omnidirectional microphone. It also supports noise suppression, echo cancellation and AGC. The specified audio compression bitrate is 128 Kbps, and volume adjustment is supported.

IC reader, TF card and integration interfaces

The built-in IC reader supports up to 10,000 cards. The OEU-202S-HMK2 also supports a TF card to expand storage capacity. Batch configuration is supported, helping simplify device preparation in professional installations.

Available interfaces include power, network, RS485 and Wiegand. The device also provides four IO inputs and two lock connections. These support an electric lock or magnetic door contact. A built-in tamper button is also included.

OEU-202S-HMK2 for outdoor installation

The OEU-202S-HMK2 operates at temperatures from -40 °C to 60 °C. The specified operating humidity range is 10% to 90%, without condensation. The manufacturer specifies the device for outdoor use.

A built-in heating module supports operation in very low temperatures. Standard installation is wall mounted. An optional flush-mounted box is also available for recessed installation.
