The OEU-202S-HMK4 is a Uniview outdoor station designed for digital residential video intercom systems. It combines video intercom, security alarm and video surveillance functions. The device also supports calls and communication with connected indoor monitors and compatible applications.

This model features 4 call buttons and an integrated IC card reader. The maximum capacity specified by the manufacturer is 10,000 cards. The system also supports up to 20 connected indoor monitors, allowing the video intercom installation to be adapted to different residential configurations.

The OEU-202S-HMK4 can be powered via PoE IEEE802.3af or a 12 V DC ±25% power supply. Network connectivity is provided through a 100 Mbps network port. The specified power consumption is 6.48 W with PoE and 5.35 W when powered by 12 V DC.

Its metal construction is designed for outdoor installation. The video intercom provides IP65 protection and IK08 impact resistance. To achieve the IP65 rating, Uniview specifies that waterproof adhesive should be applied to the gap between the device and the wall according to the relevant installation instructions.

Uniview video intercom with DWDR and infrared

The video system of the OEU-202S-HMK4 supports DWDR and uses adaptive infrared illumination. Its field of view is 106.9° horizontally, 56.9° vertically and 127.9° diagonally.

For audio communication, the video intercom integrates a built-in speaker and an omnidirectional microphone. It also supports noise suppression, echo cancellation and AGC. The specified audio compression bitrate is 128 Kbps, and volume adjustment is supported.

IC reader, TF card and integration interfaces

The integrated IC reader of the OEU-202S-HMK4 supports up to 10,000 cards. The device also supports a TF card to expand its storage capacity. Batch configuration is available as well, helping simplify device preparation in professional video intercom installations.

Available interfaces include power, network, RS485 and Wiegand. The unit also provides four IO inputs and two lock connections. These connections support an electric lock or magnetic door contact. A built-in tamper button is also included.

OEU-202S-HMK4 for outdoor installation

The OEU-202S-HMK4 operates at temperatures from -40 °C to 60 °C. The specified operating humidity range is 10% to 90%, non-condensing. The manufacturer specifies the device for outdoor use.

A built-in heating module supports operation at very low temperatures. Standard installation is wall mounted. An optional flush-mounted box is also available for recessed installation. The device additionally supports a power output that can be enabled or disabled through the Web interface.
