CG122 - VicoHome WiFi 3MP 2.97mm IP Camera

The CG122 is a battery-powered VicoHome IP Camera designed for flexible indoor or outdoor installation. It provides 3MP (2304 × 1296) resolution and 2.4 GHz WiFi connectivity. Since the camera does not require a permanent electrical power supply during operation, it can be installed in locations where running power cables would be impractical.

The camera uses a 1/3" CMOS image sensor combined with a fixed 2.97mm F1.6 lens. Its specified minimum illumination is 0.01 Lux. Remote management is provided through the VicoHome app, allowing the camera to form part of a video surveillance solution accessible from a compatible mobile device.

3MP image and 7m night vision

The CG122 provides 3MP images for detailed monitoring of the surveillance area. At night, the camera uses infrared illumination to provide up to 7m night vision. This allows the monitored area to remain visible when ambient lighting conditions are reduced.

A white LED complements the infrared system and supports colour night images under compatible conditions. The white light can also operate as a flashing deterrent or as a fixed courtesy light. For video processing, the camera supports H.264 and H.265 compression.

CG122 with PIR detection and deterrence

The CG122 features an integrated PIR sensor for detection. When the sensor detects activity, it can activate the camera video. This combines physical PIR detection with the video surveillance functions available on the device.

An integrated siren provides an additional deterrence function. The VicoHome platform also offers intelligent detection features for people, animals, packages and areas of interest. These intelligent Cloud features require a subscription and are separate from the physical PIR sensor integrated into the camera.

5000mAh battery and USB-C charging

Power is supplied by a replaceable 5000mAh battery. The Li-ion battery system consists of two 2500mAh 18650 batteries. The estimated battery life can reach up to 6 months under the specified test conditions, based on approximately 10 seconds of video per day. Actual battery life depends on usage frequency and operating conditions.

Charging is carried out through USB-C DC5V/1.5A, with an indicated charging time of approximately 10 hours. The charger is not included. Unlike the CG122-SOLAR version, this CG122 does not include a solar panel.

Two-way audio, MicroSD 128GB and IP65

The CG122 includes a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio. Users can listen to the monitored environment and communicate remotely through the camera using the VicoHome app. This function provides direct audio communication alongside live video surveillance.

For local storage, the camera supports a MicroSD 128GB card. The free VicoHome Cloud service includes motion notifications with associated Cloud recording. Free recordings are overwritten when they reach 3 days or 0.5GB. Additional services and intelligent functions may require a subscription.

The IP65 protection allows the CG122 to be used indoors or outdoors. Its specified operating temperature ranges from -10°C to +45°C. A magnetic mount is included to simplify installation and camera orientation. Combining 3MP resolution, a 2.97mm lens, PIR detection, 7m night vision, a 5000mAh battery, MicroSD 128GB storage and two-way audio, the CG122 provides a versatile VicoHome solution for locations without a permanent electrical power supply.
