Ajax MotionCam is a motion detector with an integrated camera that takes photos when the detector is triggered.
Alarm notification is immediate.
Photos take about 9 seconds to reach users.
This means it only takes 9 seconds to show the real situation at the location where the detector was activated. Users view the photos in the Ajax apps, immediately verify if the threat is real, and respond accordingly. Photo verification alleviates user anxiety and avoids unnecessary calls to police authorities.
The HDR feature captures detailed images in any lighting by combining two photos with different shutter speeds.
The MotionCam captures an image before thieves realize they have been detected. An animated series of photographs follows the instant alarm for an accurate assessment of the situation.
HDR technology improves the visibility of both bright and dark scenes. The device captures detailed images regardless of the lighting level. To achieve this, the Ajax MotionCam takes two photos with different shutter speeds, and a special algorithm combines them to select the best combination of light and shadow.

Stable operation with pre-installed batteries.
The MotionCam comes with pre-installed lithium batteries, with a lifespan of up to 4 years, completely independent of the mains power supply.
Ajax apps notify users of low battery levels several months in advance.
Batteries are easily replaceable.

System monitoring
All Ajax devices perform automatic self-diagnosis and communicate their status to the hub.
Essential parameters, including tamper-evident status, communication, power supply, and sensor, are continuously monitored.
The Ajax Cloud server controls communication between the hub and Ajax applications, ensuring instant notifications for CRAs, security companies, and users. In case of malfunctions or communication failure, users are immediately informed to proceed accordingly.
