The NVS-VIDEOINTERCOM-2W-KPAD is a Nivian 2-wire WiFi video intercom kit with an integrated access-control keypad. It combines a 2MP outdoor station with a 7" indoor touch monitor. It is designed for residential and professional installations. Users can view visitors, answer calls and communicate through two-way audio. The system also provides control of electric door locks.

The 2-wire technology simplifies the connection between the monitor and outdoor station. Power for the outdoor station is supplied directly by the indoor monitor. Therefore, a separate power supply is not required next to the entrance.

The integrated keypad provides access through fixed or one-time PIN codes. This offers an alternative method of unlocking the entrance. One-time codes can also be used for occasional access, according to the functions available on the device.

The outdoor station also includes a Mifare card reader. This allows the system to combine different access-control methods. The call button can be customised to make the entrance easier to identify.

7" touch monitor with WiFi and Tuya Smart

The indoor monitor features a 7" TFT LCD touch display with a resolution of 1024 × 600. Its interface provides access to the main video intercom functions. Two-way audio uses a microphone and speaker with noise reduction.

A 2.4GHz WiFi connection enables the use of the Tuya Smart app. Users can receive call notifications and perform remote door unlocking through the application. This provides greater flexibility when the user is away from the indoor monitor.

2MP 1080P camera with night vision

The outdoor station of the NVS-VIDEOINTERCOM-2W-KPAD features a 2MP CMOS camera with 1080P resolution. Its diagonal viewing angle is 110°. These features allow the entrance area to be viewed directly from the indoor monitor.

For night operation, the device provides IR illumination up to 5 m. It also includes a white LED for colour night vision. Communication is supported by an integrated microphone and speaker with noise reduction.

2 outputs for electric locks

The video intercom provides 2 outputs for electric locks. One voltage-free relay output is intended for locks that already have their own power supply. The second output is powered and can supply power to a lock without a nearby power source.

This configuration provides flexibility when installing the access-control system. The selected output should match the electrical requirements of the connected lock. Door unlocking can be combined with the PIN keypad, Mifare reader and monitor functions.

ONVIF integration with up to 8 IP cameras

The NVS-VIDEOINTERCOM-2W-KPAD can also use the monitor for CCTV management. It supports up to 8 IP cameras through ONVIF compatibility. This allows additional areas of the installation to be viewed from the same monitor.

ONVIF integration increases the versatility of the system. In addition to the outdoor station image, compatible IP cameras can also be displayed. This function is useful in installations that combine video intercom and video surveillance.

MicroSD up to 128 GB for image recording

The monitor supports a MicroSD card up to 128 GB, not included. The card is intended for image recording through the functions available on the device. This provides local storage capacity for the system.

WiFi connectivity and the Tuya Smart app complement the local video intercom functions. Users can receive call notifications and manage remote door unlocking through the application.

2-wire installation up to 100 m

Communication between the monitor and outdoor station uses 2-wire technology. The specified maximum distance between the devices is 100 m. The manufacturer recommends a cable diameter of 0.75mm.

The monitor uses a DC 24V/2A power supply. Power consumption is 9.5 W during operation and 5 W in standby. The outdoor station receives its power directly from the indoor monitor.

IP65 outdoor station for Nivian video intercom

The outdoor station features IP65 protection and is suitable for exterior installation. Its operating temperature ranges from -40 °C to +55 °C. The indoor monitor operates between -10 °C and +55 °C.
