The IPC-P413-X20K is a 3MP Uniarch PTZ IP camera designed for professional video surveillance systems. Its combination of PTZ movement, a motorised lens and 20X optical zoom allows large areas to be monitored while providing detailed observation at long distances. The camera also features Smart IR, 120 dB WDR, MicroSD storage, PoE+ and IP66 protection.

Equipped with a 1/2.8" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor, the camera provides a maximum resolution of 3MP (2304 × 1296) at 30 fps. This configuration delivers detailed images with smooth video transmission. The IPC-P413-X20K is suitable for monitoring perimeters, car parks, industrial areas, access points and other locations requiring dynamic surveillance coverage.

5–100mm lens with 20X optical zoom

The motorised 5–100mm lens features autofocus and provides 20X optical zoom. This allows the operator to switch from a wider view to the observation of subjects located at a considerable distance. Optical zoom uses the camera lens to bring distant areas closer, making it particularly useful for professional long-distance surveillance applications.

The field of view changes according to the zoom position. Horizontal coverage ranges from 51.70° to 3.85°, while vertical coverage ranges from 30.49° to 2.16°. The diagonal field of view ranges from 63.60° to 4.54°. This variation allows the viewing area to be adapted to different surveillance requirements.

IPC-P413-X20K for long-distance surveillance

DORI distances provide a technical reference for the capabilities of the 5–100mm lens. Detection ranges from approximately 77.6 to 1551.7 m. Observation ranges from 31.0 to 620.7 m. Recognition ranges from 15.5 to 310.3 m, while identification ranges from 7.8 to 155.2 m.

These values depend on the focal length being used. They therefore provide a useful reference when selecting the appropriate zoom position. The combination of PTZ movement and 20X optical zoom makes it possible to alternate between general area surveillance and detailed observation of distant points.

Smart IR up to 100 m and 120 dB WDR

The camera features Smart IR up to 100 m for video surveillance in low-light conditions. Smart IR manages infrared illumination according to the conditions of the scene. The specified minimum illumination is 0.003 Lux (F1.7, AGC ON). With infrared illumination enabled, the camera can operate at 0 Lux.

The ICR filter supports day and night operation. 120 dB WDR improves visibility in scenes with significant differences in brightness. 2D/3D DNR digital noise reduction helps optimise image quality. Additional functions include AGC, ROI, Motion Detection and Privacy Mask.

H.265 video and MicroSD storage

The IPC-P413-X20K supports H.265, H.264 and MJPEG video compression. The camera can provide three video streams. The main stream supports up to 2304 × 1296 at 30 fps. The secondary stream supports up to 720p at 30 fps, while the third stream supports D1 resolution at up to 30 fps.

For local storage, the camera supports a MicroSD card up to 256 GB. Network connectivity is provided through an RJ45 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface. ONVIF compatibility facilitates integration with video surveillance systems that support this protocol.

PoE+ and IP66 protection for outdoor installations

The camera can be powered via 12V DC or PoE+ IEEE 802.3at. With PoE+, electrical power and data can use the same compatible network connection. This solution can simplify cabling in professional installations. The specified maximum power is 20W.

The IP66 rating provides protection suitable for outdoor installations. The specified operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +65°C.
