The IPC-B242-ADF28K-WP is a 2MP Uniarch Bullet IP camera designed for professional video surveillance systems. It combines ColorHunter with Wise-ISP technology, a 1/2.7" CMOS sensor and a fixed 2.8mm lens with F1.0 aperture. This combination improves colour reproduction, detail and image quality in environments with very low illumination levels.

The camera provides a maximum resolution of 2MP (1920 × 1080) at 30 fps. It also supports 720P at 30 fps and provides two video streams. To optimise bandwidth usage and storage space, the IPC-B242-ADF28K-WP supports Ultra 265, H.265, H.264 and MJPEG video compression.

IPC-B242-ADF28K-WP with ColorHunter and Wise-ISP

ColorHunter technology works together with Wise-ISP image processing to improve performance in low-light environments. The F1.0 lens allows more light to reach the sensor, while the minimum illumination of 0.0003 lux helps maintain colour images even under demanding lighting conditions.

The IPC-B242-ADF28K-WP also features 120 dB True WDR. This function balances very bright and very dark areas within the same image. It is particularly useful for entrances, building façades, access points and other areas where strong differences in brightness may occur.

Fixed 2.8mm lens and wide coverage

The fixed 2.8mm lens provides a horizontal field of view of 99.0°, a vertical field of view of 53.0° and a diagonal field of view of 118.0°. This wide coverage makes the camera suitable for monitoring entrances, outdoor areas, access corridors and commercial environments.

The DORI values for the 2.8mm lens are 45 m for detection, 18 m for observation, 9 m for recognition and 4.5 m for identification. The camera also supports three-axis adjustment, with Pan from 0° to 360°, Tilt from 0° to 90° and rotation from 0° to 360°.

Warm light up to 30 metres

The IPC-B242-ADF28K-WP uses warm light as supplementary illumination, with a maximum range of 30 metres. Lighting control can be configured automatically or manually. This illumination works alongside ColorHunter technology to improve visibility in poorly lit environments.

The camera also includes several image processing functions, including 2D/3D DNR, HLC, BLC and Digital Defog. It also supports 9:16 corridor mode, privacy masks, ROI and up to four OSD areas.

Among the available analytics functions is UMD – Ultra Motion Detection. The camera also supports conventional motion detection, audio detection and tampering alarm. These functions make it possible to configure events according to the requirements of the security system.

The IPC-B242-ADF28K-WP includes a built-in microphone for audio capture and supports G.711U and G.711A audio compression. This model does not include a built-in speaker and does not support two-way audio.

PoE, ONVIF and MicroSD up to 512 GB

Network connectivity is provided through an RJ45 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet interface. The camera supports PoE IEEE 802.3af, allowing both data and power to be transmitted through a single network cable. It can also be powered using 12 V DC.

Compatibility with ONVIF Profile S, Profile G and Profile T helps integrate the camera with compatible third-party systems. API and SDK integration are also supported. For local storage, the camera supports MicroSD cards up to 512 GB, together with network storage through ANR and NAS.

IPC-B242-ADF28K-WP with IP67 protection

The IPC-B242-ADF28K-WP has an IP67 protection rating, making it suitable for outdoor installations. Its operating temperature ranges from -30 °C to 60 °C, with relative humidity up to 95% without condensation.

The camera has a low maximum power consumption of only 2.6 W and includes 4 kV surge protection. Its combination of ColorHunter, Wise-ISP, 2.8mm F1.0 lens, 120 dB WDR, UMD, PoE, ONVIF, MicroSD and IP67 makes it a versatile solution for professional video surveillance systems.
