The 16-Channel Black Ajax Superior NVR H2DAI2GAC belongs to Ajax Systems' flagship professional product line, designed exclusively for accredited high-security projects. This IP recorder features onboard Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, upgrading third-party cameras with intelligent analytics for human, vehicle, and pet recognition (up to 16 AI channels analyzed simultaneously). Built to integrate with high-grade industrial PoE switches, it features 2 independent Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 LAN/WAN ports (10/100/1000 Mbps), ensuring isolated network topology and supporting up to 384 Mbps incoming and 384 Mbps outgoing bandwidth. It also features support for 2 × 2.5" or 3.5" SATA hot-swappable hard drives up to 24 TB per drive (totaling up to 48 TB, drives not included), enabling drive replacement without operational downtime.
The Superior NVR H2DAI2GAC includes a 4K HDMI output (up to 3840 × 2160 px) and 3 USB ports (1 fast USB 3.0 port on the front panel and 2 USB 2.0 ports on the rear panel), allowing the setup of an on-site local monitoring workstation. The unit manages up to 16 IP video channels (Ajax cameras or ONVIF Profile S/T & RTSP) and offers two advanced storage resiliency modes: Redundancy (mirrored backup) and Split. Powered by the proprietary P2P JetSparrow protocol, video playback and event log synchronization are instant and encrypted.
Engineered for certified installers, setup, access permissions, and remote maintenance are managed via the dedicated APP PRO (Ajax PRO app). The recorder includes an internal AC power supply (100–240 V~, 1.5 A, max power consumption of only 60 W) and meets top-tier cybersecurity standards (mTLS encryption, digital signatures, NDAA compliance).
