The NVR4104HS-4KS3 is a Dahua Lite 4-channel NVR designed for small professional IP video surveillance systems. It supports network cameras with resolutions up to 12MP, integrates SMD Plus on 4 channels directly through the recorder, provides bandwidth up to 80 Mbps and supports the installation of 1 SATA HDD with capacity up to 20TB.

The NVR4104HS-4KS3 allows connection and management of up to 4 IP cameras, making it suitable for small commercial installations, offices, homes and other video surveillance systems requiring up to four network video channels.

Compatible with cameras up to 12MP

The recorder supports IP cameras with resolutions of 12MP, 8MP, 6MP, 5MP, 4MP, 3MP, 1080p, 960p, 720p, D1, CIF and QCIF. This broad compatibility allows high-resolution cameras to be used and the system to be configured according to the specific requirements of each installation.

SMD Plus on 4 channels through the NVR

The NVR4104HS-4KS3 integrates SMD Plus on 4 channels using the intelligence of the recorder itself. The system performs secondary filtering of people and motor vehicles, helping reduce false alarms caused by leaves, rain and changes in lighting conditions.

AI functions through compatible cameras

In addition to SMD Plus integrated in the recorder, the NVR4104HS-4KS3 supports intelligent functions provided by compatible Dahua cameras, including face detection, face recognition, perimeter protection, SMD, people counting, stereo analysis and heat map.

Perimeter protection through the camera

With compatible cameras, the NVR supports perimeter protection on up to 4 channels. Intelligent functions performed by the camera can therefore be integrated into the NVR recording and event management system.

Face detection and recognition

The NVR4104HS-4KS3 supports face detection and face recognition through compatible cameras on all channels, up to 4 targets per second. Supported facial attributes include gender, age group, glasses, expression, face mask and beard.

80/80/60 Mbps bandwidth

The recorder provides maximum bandwidth of 80 Mbps incoming, 80 Mbps recording and 60 Mbps outgoing, allowing efficient management of video streams from cameras connected to the system.

High-resolution video decoding

With AI functions disabled, the NVR can decode up to 1 channel 12MP@30 fps, 2 channels 8MP@30 fps, 2 channels 6MP@30 fps, 3 channels 5MP@30 fps or 4 channels 4MP@30 fps. With AI enabled, decoding capacity is adjusted according to the resolution being used.

Smart H.265+ and Smart H.264+

The NVR4104HS-4KS3 supports Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+ and H.264 video compression. These technologies help optimise bandwidth usage and storage capacity while maintaining efficient video recording.

4K HDMI and VGA output

The recorder includes 1 HDMI output and 1 VGA output. The HDMI output supports resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 (4K), allowing cameras to be displayed on a high-resolution monitor. The system supports 1 or 4-window display layouts.

1 SATA HDD up to 20TB

The NVR4104HS-4KS3 includes 1 SATA port for the installation of a hard drive with capacity up to 20TB. Maximum supported capacity may vary depending on ambient temperature conditions.

Recording and playback up to 4 channels

The NVR supports simultaneous playback of up to 4 channels and provides several recording modes, including general recording, motion detection, intelligent events and alarm recording. Playback options include instant, general, event, tag and smart playback.

ONVIF and third-party camera compatibility

The NVR4104HS-4KS3 supports ONVIF 24.12 Profile T, Profile S and Profile G, as well as CGI and SDK. It also supports compatible cameras from multiple manufacturers, making it suitable for multi-brand IP video surveillance systems.

Remote access via iOS and Android

The recorder supports remote access from iOS and Android devices and supports network protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, RTSP, UDP, NTP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, FTP, DDNS, SNMP and P2P.

Audio and alarms

The NVR includes 1 RCA audio input and 1 RCA audio output. It supports general alarms, abnormalities and intelligent events including face detection, face recognition, perimeter protection, SMD Plus, people counting, stereo analysis and heat map when compatible devices are used.

Compact 1U design

The NVR4104HS-4KS3 features a compact 1U design with dimensions of 260.0 × 232.5 × 47.6 mm. It operates from a 12 VDC / 2 A power supply and consumes less than 10 W without HDD.
