VTH5241DW-S2 - Dahua 10" IP Indoor Monitor WiFi PoE

The VTH5241DW-S2 is a Dahua IP indoor monitor designed for video intercom systems. It features a large 10" LCD display, WiFi and Ethernet connectivity, two-way audio and PoE power supply.

The device uses an embedded Linux operating system. The combination of a capacitive touchscreen and touch buttons provides easy control of the available system functions.

10" LCD Display with 1024 × 600 Resolution

The VTH5241DW-S2 features a 10" color LCD display. Its 1024 × 600 resolution provides clear viewing of images from the video intercom system.

Operation is performed through the capacitive touchscreen and integrated touch buttons. The 10" format provides a large viewing area for use as an indoor monitor.

Embedded Linux System

The monitor uses an embedded microprocessor and Linux operating system. This platform is designed to manage the functions of the Dahua indoor monitor.

Video compression uses the H.264 format. For audio, the device uses G.711 compression.

Two-Way Audio

The VTH5241DW-S2 provides two-way audio communication within the video intercom system. It integrates an omnidirectional microphone and a speaker.

This allows the user to communicate directly with visitors through the indoor monitor and compatible devices installed in the system.

WiFi and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet

The monitor features WiFi IEEE 802.11b/g/n connectivity. The frequency specified by the manufacturer ranges from 2400 to 2483.5MHz.

It also integrates an auto-adaptive 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface. The network protocol specified by Dahua is TCP/IP.

PoE IEEE 802.3af and 12V DC Power

The VTH5241DW-S2 can be powered by 12V DC or PoE IEEE 802.3af.

PoE allows data and power to be transmitted through compatible Ethernet infrastructure. This solution can simplify the cabling required for installation.

Micro SD up to 32GB

The monitor features a slot for Micro SD cards up to 32GB. This is the maximum storage capacity specified by Dahua for the VTH5241DW-S2.

6 Wired Alarm Zones and 8 Wireless Zones

The device integrates 6 wired alarm zones. It also supports 8 wireless alarm zones, expanding the integration possibilities of the monitor.

The VTH5241DW-S2 also provides 1 alarm output and 1 RS-485 interface.

Surface Mounting

The monitor is designed for surface mounting. Its dimensions are 265 × 180 × 22.5 mm, providing a large format with a slim profile.

The operating temperature ranges from -10 °C to +55 °C. The specified operating relative humidity is 10% to 90% RH.

Optional VTM60D Desktop Stand

For installations where direct wall mounting is not required, Dahua offers the VTM60D as a compatible desktop stand.

The VTM60D is an optional accessory and should not be considered part of the VTH5241DW-S2 unless supplied separately.
