The SD1A404DB-GNY is a professional 4MP PTZ IP camera from Dahua, belonging to the WizSense series. It is designed for video surveillance systems requiring high image quality, PTZ control and intelligent functions. It combines Starlight technology, 4x optical zoom, up to 20 m IR illumination and intelligent video analysis based on artificial intelligence.

4MP imaging with Starlight technology

The SD1A404DB-GNY uses a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 4MP (2560 × 1440). Starlight technology provides high sensitivity in low-light environments, allowing high-quality images to be obtained even at night or in reduced-light conditions.

4x optical zoom and 2.8-12 mm lens

The lens with a focal length of 2.8 mm to 12 mm provides 4x optical zoom, allowing objects and areas of interest to be enlarged while maintaining a high level of detail. The horizontal field of view ranges from 96.9° to 31.6°.

Up to 20 m IR night vision

For night-time surveillance, the SD1A404DB-GNY features infrared illumination with a range of up to 20 m. The SmartIR function adapts illumination to scene conditions and contributes to effective 24-hour surveillance.

PTZ control and preset positions

The camera supports horizontal rotation from 0° to 355° and vertical tilt from 5° to 90°. It supports up to 300 preset positions and 8 tours, with up to 32 presets per tour, allowing different surveillance routes to be configured.

WizSense and artificial intelligence

WizSense technology uses deep-learning algorithms to improve the classification of people and vehicles. The camera supports perimeter protection, including tripwire, intrusion, line crossing, loitering detection and other intelligent functions.

Face detection and people counting

The SD1A404DB-GNY supports face detection, face capture and face enhancement. It also integrates people counting functions, allowing people crossing a line, present within a defined area or waiting in a queue to be counted.

SMD and intelligent video surveillance

The SMD function helps distinguish relevant targets and improve the analysis of security events. The camera combines these functions with motion detection and perimeter protection.

PoE, ONVIF and storage

The SD1A404DB-GNY supports IEEE 802.3af PoE and features an RJ-45 10/100 Base-T network interface. Compatibility with ONVIF Profile S, Profile G and Profile T facilitates integration with different video surveillance systems. It supports storage via Micro SD card up to 512 GB, FTP/SFTP and NAS.

IP66 and IK08 protection

With an IP66 rating and IK08 impact resistance, the SD1A404DB-GNY is designed for use in demanding environments. It operates within a temperature range of -30 °C to +60 °C.
