The NVR4232-4KS3 is a Dahua Lite 32-channel NVR designed for professional IP video surveillance systems requiring a large number of cameras, flexible storage and intelligent functions. It supports IP cameras with resolutions up to 12MP, integrates SMD Plus on 2 channels through the recorder and features 2 SATA ports for hard drives with capacities of up to 20TB each.

The NVR4232-4KS3 allows connection and management of up to 32 IP cameras. Its combination of 32 channels, high bandwidth, storage for 2 HDDs and professional interfaces makes this NVR suitable for businesses, warehouses, commercial buildings, industrial installations and other IP video surveillance systems with a large number of cameras.

Resolution up to 12MP

The NVR4232-4KS3 supports IP cameras with resolutions of 12MP, 8MP, 6MP, 5MP, 4MP, 3MP, 1080p, 720p, 960p, D1, CIF and QCIF, allowing high-resolution cameras to be integrated into systems requiring a high level of image detail.

SMD Plus with AI on 2 channels

The NVR4232-4KS3 integrates recorder-based SMD Plus on 2 channels. This technology performs secondary filtering of people and motor vehicles, helping to reduce false alarms caused by leaves, rain or changes in lighting conditions.

Advanced AI through compatible cameras

With compatible IP cameras, the NVR4232-4KS3 supports several AI functions, including face detection, face recognition, perimeter protection, SMD, people counting, stereo analysis and heat map. This allows the recorder to take advantage of intelligent functions built into compatible cameras.

Perimeter protection through camera

The NVR4232-4KS3 supports perimeter protection through compatible cameras on up to 6 channels, allowing intelligent analysis and detection functions provided by compatible IP cameras to be used.

Face detection and face recognition

The NVR4232-4KS3 supports face detection and face recognition through compatible cameras on all channels, with processing of up to 6 targets per second. Face detection can use attributes such as gender, age group, glasses, expression, face mask and beard.

SMD through compatible IP cameras

In addition to SMD Plus processed directly by the recorder, the NVR4232-4KS3 supports SMD through compatible IP cameras on all channels, with processing of up to 12 targets per second.

Bandwidth up to 160 Mbps

With AI disabled, the NVR4232-4KS3 provides 160 Mbps incoming bandwidth, 128 Mbps recording bandwidth and 60 Mbps outgoing bandwidth. With AI enabled, it provides 80 Mbps incoming, 80 Mbps recording and 60 Mbps outgoing bandwidth.

High decoding capability

With AI disabled, the recorder supports decoding of up to 1 channel 12MP@30 fps, 2 channels 8MP@30 fps, 2 channels 6MP@30 fps, 3 channels 5MP@30 fps, 4 channels 4MP@30 fps or 8 channels 1080p@30 fps.

Decoding with AI enabled

With AI enabled, the NVR4232-4KS3 supports decoding of up to 1 channel 12MP@30 fps, 1 channel 8MP@30 fps, 2 channels 6MP@30 fps, 2 channels 5MP@30 fps, 3 channels 4MP@30 fps or 7 channels 1080p@30 fps.

Smart H.265+ for storage optimisation

The recorder supports Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+ and H.264 video compression formats, helping to optimise bandwidth usage and available hard drive storage space.

2 SATA HDDs up to 20TB each

The NVR4232-4KS3 features 2 SATA ports, allowing up to 2 hard drives with a maximum capacity of 20TB each. The recorder also supports disk grouping. Maximum capacity per drive may vary according to ambient temperature.

4K HDMI and VGA outputs

The NVR features 1 HDMI output and 1 VGA output. In simultaneous mode, the HDMI output supports resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 (4K), while VGA supports resolutions up to 1920 × 1080.

Independent video outputs

The NVR4232-4KS3 also supports heterogeneous video output, allowing HDMI and VGA to display different views. In this mode, both outputs support resolutions up to 1920 × 1080.

Multi-screen display up to 36 divisions

With AI disabled, the main screen supports display modes of 1, 4, 8, 9, 16, 25 or 36 divisions, while the secondary screen supports 1, 4, 8, 9 or 16 divisions. With AI enabled, both support up to 16 divisions.

Simultaneous playback of up to 16 channels

The NVR4232-4KS3 supports simultaneous playback of up to 16 channels. Recording modes include general, motion detection, intelligent and alarm recording, while playback modes include instant, general, event, tag and smart playback.

Gigabit Ethernet

The NVR4232-4KS3 features 1 × RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Mbps port, providing a network interface suitable for professional IP video surveillance systems.

ONVIF and professional compatibility

The recorder supports ONVIF 24.12 Profile T, Profile S and Profile G, as well as CGI and SDK. It also supports integration with compatible third-party cameras, providing greater flexibility when implementing IP video surveillance systems.

4 alarm inputs and 2 alarm outputs

The NVR4232-4KS3 features 4 alarm inputs and 2 alarm outputs, including one 12 V / 1 A output, providing greater flexibility for integration with external devices.
