The NVR2104HS-P-4KS3 is a Dahua Lite 4-channel NVR with 4 PoE ports, designed for small professional IP video surveillance systems. It supports IP cameras with resolutions up to 12MP, integrates SMD Plus on 4 channels and features one SATA port for installing an HDD with a capacity of up to 20TB.

The NVR2104HS-P-4KS3 allows connection and management of up to 4 IP cameras, making it a compact solution for small professional installations, shops, offices, homes and other systems requiring up to four IP video surveillance channels.

4 integrated PoE ports

The recorder features 4 × 10/100 Mbps PoE ports compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at standards. A compatible PoE camera can therefore receive power and transmit data through the same network cable, simplifying installation and reducing the need for individual power supplies.

Total PoE power budget of 36 W

The 4 PoE ports provide a total power budget of 36 W, with a maximum power output of 25.5 W per port. When selecting cameras, both the maximum permitted power per port and the total PoE power budget available on the NVR must be respected.

Resolution up to 12MP

The NVR2104HS-P-4KS3 supports IP cameras with resolutions of 12MP, 8MP, 6MP, 5MP, 4MP, 3MP, 1080p, 720p, 960p, D1, CIF and QCIF, allowing professional video surveillance systems to deliver high image quality and detail.

SMD Plus with AI on 4 channels

The NVR2104HS-P-4KS3 provides SMD Plus through the recorder on all 4 channels. This technology performs secondary filtering of people and motor vehicles, helping to reduce false alarms caused by leaves, rain or changes in lighting conditions.

Perimeter protection through compatible cameras

The NVR supports perimeter protection through compatible IP cameras on all channels, with processing of up to 4 targets per second. This function allows the system to take advantage of AI capabilities built into compatible cameras.

SMD through compatible IP cameras

In addition to SMD Plus processed directly by the recorder, the NVR2104HS-P-4KS3 supports SMD through compatible cameras on all channels, with processing of up to 8 targets per second.

80/80/60 Mbps bandwidth

The NVR2104HS-P-4KS3 provides 80 Mbps incoming bandwidth, 80 Mbps recording bandwidth and 60 Mbps outgoing bandwidth, offering suitable capacity for professional IP video surveillance systems with up to 4 channels.

Decoding capability

With AI disabled, the recorder supports decoding of up to 1 channel 12MP@30 fps, 1 channel 8MP@30 fps, 2 channels 6MP@30 fps, 2 channels 5MP@30 fps, 3 channels 4MP@30 fps or 6 channels 1080p@30 fps.

With AI enabled, the NVR2104HS-P-4KS3 supports decoding of up to 1 channel 8MP@30 fps, 1 channel 6MP@30 fps, 1 channel 5MP@30 fps, 2 channels 4MP@30 fps or 4 channels 1080p@30 fps.

Smart H.265+ for storage optimisation

The recorder supports Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, H.264 and MJPEG video compression formats. Smart H.265+ helps optimise bandwidth usage and available HDD storage space in IP video surveillance systems.

1 SATA HDD up to 20TB

The NVR2104HS-P-4KS3 features 1 SATA port for installing a hard drive with a capacity of up to 20TB. Maximum supported capacity may vary according to ambient temperature, as specified by the manufacturer.

4K HDMI and VGA outputs

The NVR features 1 HDMI output and 1 VGA output. The HDMI output supports resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 (4K), while the VGA output supports up to 1920 × 1080, allowing direct connection to compatible monitors.

Simultaneous playback of up to 4 channels

The NVR2104HS-P-4KS3 supports simultaneous playback of up to 4 channels. Recording modes include general, motion detection, intelligent and alarm recording, while playback modes include instant, general, event, tag and smart playback.

With dimensions of only 260 × 232.5 × 47.6 mm, the NVR2104HS-P-4KS3 features a compact 1U design suitable for installations with limited space. It uses a 53 VDC / 1.22 A power supply and NVR power consumption is less than 10 W without HDD.
